Ninety days to stop guessing with your own dog

I teach you to understand your dog and lead him

Pack Leader Blueprint is my ninety day online program for you and your dog. By the end of it you know why he pulls, barks or takes over the house, and exactly what to do about it. No one takes your dog away to fix him, and no band-aids. You learn to lead him. It starts with a free interview with me.

Here is what this actually is

My ninety day mentorship, in plain words

Pack Leader Blueprint is a ninety day online program I run a few times a year with a small group of committed dog owners, professionals, and aspiring professionals. You do not hand me your dog. You learn to understand him and lead him, with me observing and guiding you and your dog the whole way, so you never feel like you need a trainer again.

Virtual video review

You post videos of you working your dog and I answer with timely, thorough voice memo feedback. You are never without support or help.

We meet live every week

To maximize your growth, cohorts meet weekly in small groups designed for individualized attention and meaningful interaction.

Your homework arrives in the mail

A binder shows up at your door with the worksheets and your homework printed inside. Each week: something to listen to, a worksheet, and one thing to go practice with your dog.

It builds in order

I take you from dog psychology kindergarten to college. We learn to add before we multiply. Most people struggling with a dog are trying to do physics, and they cannot add yet.

None of this gets better on its own

What you deal with now, and what I work on with you

Most dogs that pull, bark and take over the house are not bad dogs. They are confused about who is in charge. I do not train your dog for you. I teach you to lead him, and when you shift, the dog shifts.

He pulls, barks and lunges at other dogs, and every walk is a fight

A walk where you lead, and passing other dogs is uneventful

Guests come over and the house turns into chaos

People come over, and the house stays calm

You have tried classes, trainers, maybe board and train, and nothing stuck

You understand why he does it, and you fix the root, not the symptom

You love your dog, and you are frustrated, embarrassed, even scared on walks

Calm and confident, because you know the next right move

I will out care anyone you’ve ever worked with

I am Ridge Vogel, founder of Pack Leader University

For the first thirty years of my life I had all the best intentions and did all the wrong things with my dog. Then I learned dog psychology, and I have worked with over 1,000 dog owners since. I am deeply committed to your success, and I will match you.

Which is why it only works both ways. I bring everything I have for ninety days and ask for the same level of commitment back, all the way through. I connect with everybody before they come into the program, because this is not just a sign up on my website.

And the part I say out loud: I can’t do it for you. This is yours to implement.

What changed for these dog owners

In their own words, from people who finished my program

Erica McMahon · three dogs

From house arrest to hiking mountains

“It felt like I was on house arrest for the duration of these dogs’ lives, living behind baby gates and cycling dogs from room to room… Three months later, my life has completely changed. I now live a bigger, much happier life. We go to restaurants together, go on daily walks without leash reactivity, hike mountains… and we haven’t had a single fight in months.”

Annelies Langenaekens · dog professional

Years of courses, then it finally clicked

“I had been studying dog behavior courses non-stop for years, but there were always dogs that kept me up at night because I just didn’t know how to help them… Since PLB, everything feels different. All the knowledge I had is no longer just in my head, it’s in my body. I now feel calm, confident, and equipped to handle every type of dog behavior.”

Annelies Langenaekens · her written testimonial

Alex Salas · dog owner

A connection I didn’t know was possible

“PLB has allowed me to connect with my dog on a level I didn’t know was possible… This has been a life changing experience for me… I understand my dog now, and I can do my best to provide a balanced and fulfilled life for the both of us.”

Alex Salas · his written testimonial, round 13

Mari Robinson · dog owner

From overwhelmed to honestly enjoying the walk

“Before Pack Leader Blueprint, I loved dogs but felt overwhelmed and unsure how to communicate with them. Through three months of practice, daily feedback, and a community learning alongside me, I gained clarity and confidence. Now I honestly enjoy walking my dog. I’m less stressed, and so is my household.”

You learn from every dog in the group

One dog would teach you one lesson. The group teaches you all of them.

This is a group program, and that is the point. Everyone posts videos of their dog, and I answer every one where the whole group can watch. So while you work on your dog, you watch me handle every other dog in the group too. By the time yours does any of it, you have already seen it solved.

What you watch me solve before it happens at your house

  • The dog that pushes ahead on the leash
  • The dog that never settles in the house
  • The nervous dog that hides at the back of the pack
  • And your dog, with me looking at it every week

Who this program is for

How the interview works

45 minutes, no preparation needed

Step one

Your name and email

That is all this page asks of you, and it takes ten seconds. Then my calendar opens right here on the page.

Step two

Pick a time

45 minutes in my calendar, whenever suits you. My form asks about your dog, so bring the one you have.

Step three

We both decide

Your goals, your biggest struggles, the life you want with your dog. A clear yes, or it is not a fit, and that is okay too.

Before you book

What people ask me before the interview

My dog is a serious case. Is this still the right place?

Most people who come to me have already been somewhere else. Classes, private sessions, board and train. That history is the normal starting point here, not a reason to be turned away. Whether this program is right for your dog is exactly what the interview is for.

Does online training really work for a dog like mine?

You are the one who lives with your dog, so you are the one who has to be able to read him. That is what the ninety days build. I see your dog on video, in your own home and on your own street, which is where the behaviour actually happens, and I tell you what I see.

How much time does it take each week?

Something to listen to, a worksheet, and one thing to go practice, plus the live session. The homework itself is short. The practice is where the time goes, and it happens on walks you were taking anyway.

What happens on the interview?

We talk through your goals, your biggest struggles and the vision you have for a future with your dog. It is a conversation about fit in both directions. By the end it should feel like a clear yes, or it is not a fit, and that is okay too.

Do I need to know anything before we talk?

No. You do not need to have read anything, watched anything or fixed anything first. Bring the dog you actually have, and I will meet you there.
